The short film.
A time honored showcase of filmmaking talent.
On average, making a short film will take weeks, maybe even months.
But what if you only had 48 hours?
 

Every year, Amsterdam hosts the ’48 Hour Film Project’.
One weekend where teams must write, shoot, edit and score a film.
Needless to say–it’s a challenge.
So in true 180 spirit, we signed up.
 

On Friday 4th May at 6.30pm, we were given:
 

A character: Victor/Vanessa Pinto
A prop: Broom
A line of dialogue: You still have much to learn
And a genre: Film de femme
 

All of which we had to use.

The book I read over and over again is “Los Renglones Torcidos de Dios”.

If I ran the city of Amsterdam for one day I would like it sunny.

The quote I live my life by is a spanish one, “Y Dios no dijo Gabino ven, si no venga vino”.

I cannot live without having sometimes really good food (and wine of course).

The best piece of advice I ever got was from my grandfather, and they said  “who knows how to go to bed late, knows how to  wake up early”.

Pereza is the soundtrack to my mind.

And now, a few words about how can have four seasons in one day in The Netherlands. It’s really incredible.

The last movie that made me cry. Sorry, I don’t have one…

My failsafe joke is … I always try to innovate.

I’m a terrible paella cook.

The word that best describes me is friendly.

If I wasn’t here I’d be enjoying the “good” weather of Amsterdam.

The world is about to end, you’ve got 48-hours to go to the beach and have a big party there.

When I wake up in the morning, the first thing I do is snooze the alarm.

I talk to my dog every day.

I’m scared of not being able to go to the beach one summer.

If I could, every day I would eat BBQ.

My happy place in Amsterdam is at the terrace of Brouwerij ‘t IJ
